What can I do with this app?
- This app can be used to validate the authenticity of a Mobile ID so that you know the person conducting the transaction is who they say they are. The app operates in a convenient, contactless manner without any physical ID cards having to exchange hands between parties.
How is an identity verification initiated?
- Open the Mobile ID Verify App and select, "I'm Ready to Scan" button. Your smartphone camera will open to scan a QR code produced by the Mobile ID app on the users device. The MiD holder will then be prompted to grant permission to share their identity attributes. Upon their approval, their identity data will display in the Verify App. Please visit the Quick Guides in the app settings for a review of how to verify a credential.
Why does this App need permission to BLE/Bluetooth Low Energy?
- Upon a QR code scan, this app transmits a request to the Mobile ID over BLE, and upon acceptance by the Mobile ID holder, this app receives data directly from the Mobile ID via BLE.
Are Verification transactions secure?
- Verification transactions initiated by a QR code scan are 100% secure through the ue of device authentication and data encryption giving full trust and assurance that the data received is accurate.

- The app is available for Android (via Google Play Store) and iOS (via Apple App Store).
